July 1-4, representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Russia Michael Webb and Nicola Scaramuzzo visited Tomsk Region to take part in the opening of the European Union Center in Siberia (EUCES).

The project is co-funded by the European Union and the Tomsk State University. It is the third EU Center in Russia. The other two are already functioning in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg. The EUCES is headquartered at the Tomsk State University. It mission is to facilitate the educational, scientific, and outreach activity.
