In the Tomsk Polytechnic University the Siberian Vibration-Based Diagnostics and Balancing Center will be open

On the third day of the U-NOVUS forum, on April 4th, at 12:00 in the Tomsk Polytechnic University (Timakova Street, 12, b.16a, lecture hall 102) there will be an opening of the Siberian Vibration-Based Diagnostics and Balancing Center.

During the opening there will be a presentation, prepared by the Center and LLC”Diamekh 2000” – the leading Russian manufacturer of industrial balancing equipment and vibration-measuring apparatus, and also discussion of experience regarding the creation of centers of excellence in partnership with the leading Russian businessmen, possibilities of common educational, research and constructive activities.

Alena Zakharova, the Director of the Cybernetics of the Tomsk Polytechnic University will act as moderator of the discussion. Peter Tchubik, the Principal of the Tomsk Polytechnic University, Ivan Bortnik, the Chairman of Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology, the Executive Director of the Association of innovation regions, Igor Radchik, the Director General of LLC”Diamekh 2000”, Aleksey Pushkarenko, the head of the Department of the Highest Vocational Education of the Tomsk region Administration will take part in the event.

The Siberian Vibration-Based Diagnostics and Balancing Center was founded in partnership of the Tomsk Polytechnic University with LLC”Diamekh 2000” and it was equipped with modern equipment: high-accuracy balancing complexes, portable instruments for measuring, evaluation and diagnostics of vibration, expert systems for control and protection against vibration etc.

On the basis of the Center training of mechanical-engineering students, training and professional development of industrial specialists will be organized. Also scientific and research, design and experimental works will be carried out here.
