Delegation of Tomsk region will take part in the International Investment Forum Sochi-2014

Tomsk region delegation led by deputy governors Andrei Antonov, Yuri Gurdin and Leonid Reznikov will take part in the Sochi International Investment Forum to be held on 18-21 September, 2014.

On the Forum will be presented major infrastructure and development projects of the Tomsk region, included in the concept of "INOTomsk'2020", such as: "Tomsk embankments", special economic zone, industrial park, "Academpark", tourism and recreation area "Seversk", "Tomsk - city with a population of one million or more", as well as educational projects "Study in Tomsk "and "Science Game". Presentation of Tomsk region includes showcase "Tomsk - the best city to live".

Tomsk delegation will take part in the plenary session "Russia between Europe and Asia: a new regional policy in modern circumstances", panel discussions "The role of energy in the Russian economy: donor or driver of growth?" and "Investment climate in the regions: how to ensure a development policy with limited resources".

Deputy Governor on economics Andrei Antonov will be one of the main speakers at master class "The public-private partnership standard: directions for use", where Tomsk region practice of public-private partnership development represented among the best regional practices. Participation of Tomsk delegation in panel discussion "Public-private partnership: the untapped resource for modernization" and meetings with potential investors for regional PPP-projects are planned also.

Deputy governor on industrial policy Leonid Reznikov will speak at round table "Legal and financial aspects of implementation of PPP-mechanism by Russian Federation regions" on the theme "Private investment in regional transport network as a development opportunity" and present the transport infrastructure of Tomsk region, alleged to construction in terms of PPP, such as roads "Perm-Ivdel-Hanty-Mansiysk - Tomsk", Igol-Orlovka, etc. Leonid Reznikov also present regional gasification program experience as one of the priorities of government policy in energy saving and production efficiency increasing, and high-tech Tomsk import-substituting products for the energy industry.
