The jubilee All-Russian festival "Golden ribbon" will hold on in Tomsk

The V All-Russian festival of independent student video projects "Golden ribbon" will hold on in Tomsk from May 13th till May 15th organized by the Administration of Tomsk region and the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University with support of the Ministry of education and science of Russian Federation.

“More than 5 thousands of the competitive bids for the "Golden ribbon" competition were given by students from 221 Russian universities”, - said Aleksey Sevastyanov, the President of the competition jury, head of the Region Department of Information Policy and Public Relations on the press conference.

"Golden ribbon" is the largest media youth competition in Russia”, - said Aleksey Sevastyanov. During five years of the festival history more than 20 thousands students almost from 300 Russian universities took part in it. The peculiarity of the festival this year is that the "Golden ribbon" festival holds on within the framework of the jubilee activities dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Tomsk region. More than 150 participants from other cities who came through to the final will come to Tomsk".

This year the forum will run on three platforms: "Video projects", "Media Management" and "The first step". The prizewinners and nominees will be defined by two categories (works of student amateurs and works of student professionals) in nine creative genres: feature film, animated cartoon, art house video project, documental film, music clip, advertising, TV spot, TV program, humorous video.

Among jury of the competition there are Ilia Svidler, the President of International organization «CinemaHall», Daria Gladisheva, the head of the regional development direction of the Youth center filmmaking union of Russia, Lev Kopelkin, the head of producer center, Vyacheslav Akramovskij, the managing director of the producer center "Media Production", Ada Bernatonite, the Ph.D. in History of Arts, member of the film experts and film critics guild of Russia, docent of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University.

On the press-conference Maxim Vodiashkin, the Prorector of administrative and social work of the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, told that in the framework of the "Golden ribbon" forum there will be a meeting of the heads of student university media centers and representatives of the Ministry of education and science of Russian Federation for discussion of the all-Russian media movement.
