The Tomsk region to participate in the Sochi International Investment Forum

A delegation of the Tomsk Region headed by Deputy Governors Andrey Antonov, Yuri Gurdin and Leonid Reznikov will take part in the Sochi International Investment Forum on September 18-21.

The Tomsk region will present major infrastructure projects and those for development of the Tomsk region that were included in INOTomsk'2020 concept. Special Economic Zone, "Tomsk Quays (Tomskiye Naberezhniye)", "Akadempark", industrial park, tourist and recreational zone, "Seversk", "Tomsk - million plus city" as well as Study in Tomsk and Science Game educational projects. Exhibit booth "Tomsk - the best city for life" will become part of the Tomsk projects presentation.

The regional delegation will take part in the plenary meeting "Russia between Europe and Asia: new regional policy in modern conditions ", the panel discussion "The Role of Fuel and Energy Complex in the Russian economy: a donor or a driver of growth? ", as well as the round table "The investment climate in the regions: how to ensure development policy in a context of limited resources?"

Andrey Antonov, the Deputy Governor for Economy, will be one of the keynote speakers at the workshop "Standard of State and Private Partnership - a user manual" where the Tomsk Region experience in development of the State-Private Partnership will be presented. They also plan to participate in panel discussion "The State-Private Partnership. Unused resource for modernization" and meeting with potential investors to the State-Private Partnership projects at the territory of our region.

Leonid Reznikov, the Deputy Governor for industrial policy, will speak at the round table "Legal and Financial Issues of the State-Private Partnership projects implementation by the Russian Federation constituent entities" with a keynote "Private investment in the regional transport network as a possibility for development", in which he will present the facilities of the Tomsk Region transport infrastructure, intended for construction on the basis of state-private partnership. These include Northern Latitudinal motor road (Perm - Ivdel -Khanty-Mansiysk - Tomsk), Igol-Orlovka motor road, etc. Also Leonid Reznikov will present the regional experience on implementation of the gasification program as one of the priority goals of the authorities for energy saving and improvement of energy efficiency. On top of that the focus will be given to high tech import substituting products for Fuel and Energy Complex.
