Tomsk Region again tops innovation-targeted activity rating

Peterburgskaya Politika Foundation, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and RBK daily newspaper presented the second innovation-targeted activity rating of Russian regions, with Tomsk and Moscow Regions again on the top.

Tomsk Region beat Moscow Region due to its XIV Innovation Forum INNOVUS held in May. Also, the experts highly scored the fact that Tomsk will be the second city after Moscow to set up Open University Skolkovo which will open in Tomsk in September 2011.

The XIV Tomsk Innovation Forum INNOVUS became one of the top five innovations-related events in Russia.
