Vostokgazprom to double the capacity of Kazanskoye oil and gas condensate field by 2015

OAO Vostokgazprom, a subsidiary of Gazprom, plans to increase the capacity of Kazanskoye oil and gas condensate field as part of a development concept. The electric energy capacity of the field will grow 2.4 times and heat capacity 1.5 times.
According to the development concept, by 2015 the company will have started up the second phase of its gas compressor station, a natural gas processing plant, the second block cluster pumping station, and other facilities.
Also, it plans to drill more than 130 production wells in 2012-2015.
Background: Kazanskoye oil and gas field is located in the south-west of Tomsk Region and has a complex geological structure and composition of hydrocarbons. Commercial production on the field started in May 2009. Implementation of all projects included in the scope of the development concept will increase the annual oil production volumes to 1.5-1.6 million tons, and associated gas production volumes to 1-1.2 billion cubic meters.
