Tomsk Region foreign trade turnover grew 10% in the first six months of 2012

Tomsk Region foreign trade turnover in the first half-year 2012 totaled $410.2m. According to the Siberian Customs Office, the foreign trade turnover of the region grew 10.4%. Exports grew 13.6% vs. the first half-year 2011 and totaled $363.8m; imports went down 9.7% and totaled $46.3m.

The leading export commodities are chemical products, rubber, timber, pulp and paper products. The leading export commodities are machines, equipment, metals and metal products.

Major exporters to Tomsk Region in the first half-year 2012 were the USA, Sweden, China, Finland, and CIS countries. Key importers were CIS countries, Germany, and China.
