Tomsk Region selected the most innovation active firms of 2011

The Tomsk Region Coordination Council for Innovation Activity included 10 more companies in the Register of Innovation Active Enterprises.

The survey embraced almost 800 enterprises in the region engaging in innovation activities. To be included in the Register, the company should fully meet five key criteria.

First, the annual volume of own goods sold and own services provided by the company should total 15 to 150 million rubles. Second, annual increment of own goods sold and own services provided, at current prices, should account for at least 15%. The share of innovative products in the annual volume of own goods sold and own services provided should be at least 30%. The spending on innovations, research and development work should account for at least 10% of the total annual volume of own goods sold. The fifth criterion is availability of reserved intellectual property rights and identifications (at least one).

The survey revealed that 10 companies in Tomsk fully meet the above criteria. They are NIOST, INCOM, Elecard Devices, LME Biotok, SibTermoKhim, RMC Strela, EleTim, TomskSoft, Advanced Powder Technologies and Aquelite.
