Tomsk Region delegation to present the region’s innovative entrepreneurship experience to the Board Presidium of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Yuri Gurdin, Deputy Governor of Tomsk Region and Arkady Eskin, President of Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry are taking part in the work of the Board Presidium of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The press service of the Tomsk CCI reports that one of the subjects at the meeting is creation of the infrastructure for the development of innovative entrepreneurship, promotion of the products by Russian "non-commodity" enterprises in foreign markets, and attraction of investments in Russian regions.

Tomsk Region will present its experience in the development of innovative entrepreneurship and creation of a system to support innovative and export-oriented business.

Tomsk CCI is one of the leaders in the Russian CCI's system for actions related to the promotion of the products by innovative and manufacturing companies in foreign markets (business missions, business contract exchange meetings) and foreign economic activity education programs for entrepreneurs.

With the support of the Tomsk Region Administration and the Russian Ministry for Economic Development, Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry created a so-called "cluster" of services for the support of export-oriented innovative business. This cluster consists of the regional Euro Info Correspondence Center, Regional Subcontracting Center, Translation Agency and Expert Evaluation and Certification Center.

In 2010-2012, within the framework of its entrepreneurship development program, Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry sponsored business missions of Tomsk entrepreneurs to India, Venezuela, Brazil, South Korea, Austria, Germany, Vietnam, Canada, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and industrial regions of Russia.
