Construction of two industrial park sites started in Tomsk

The Tomsk authorities have decided to create two production sites on the outskirts of the city: - one for engineering enterprises (Northern site), the other for food industry companies (site Berezovaya). CJSC GazServis became the General Contractor for the project until 2015 following the results of an open auction.

The company GazServis started the construction work on site in the Northern industrial zone (bordering the Northern site of the Tomsk Special Economic Zone).

 We started implementing the project that is important for the city - industrial park construction. There is a need to create a new modern production. On the first site (Northern) the industrial enterprises will be given such opportunity in full (for creation and development of modern production), - acting mayor of Tomsk, Evgeny Parshuto said during a visiting meeting of the industrial park construction Head Office.

Whereas, the head of the department of capital construction at the city administration, Aleskey Safronov reported that 299 million rubles (188 million rubles - federal subsidy, 111 million rubles - regional budget funds) will be allocated for construction of the industrial park on-site infrastructure  in the Northern industrial zone and on Berezovaya Street in 2013. The money will be spent mainly on connection of sites to utilities.

The tasks set with this amount of money for year include: cutting down of trees, leveling operations, connecting to electric power equipment, water supply, water discharge, and for the next year - the electric network layout on sites. They both have the greatest length: Northern site – 115 hectares, Berezovaya - 28 hectares” – Safronov pointed out.

According to the data reported by the city hall efforts will be continued to find new residents and the terms of agreements with the existing ones will be specified in parallel with the building of the industrial park on-site infrastructure.

“Now the main task is to place real enterprises on the territory of the industrial park which will define their plans during the year and along with us relocate to production sites”, - Parshuto noted.
