The audit confirmed that the Tomsk Polytechnic University complies with international standards

The auditors of one of the largest international agency on certification DQS GmbH confirmed that Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) meets the demands in the global market, as press service of the higher education institution reported today.

“TPU has successfully passed an external certification audit of the quality management system (QMS) for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. That is an external and independent acknowledgement that the higher education institution complies with the requirements for the participants of the global market”, - as stated in the report.

It has been specified that the auditors of the company DQS GmbH verified compliance of the QMS documentation with the international standards and how these requirements are fulfilled in 10 divisions of TPU.

“The auditors evaluated both the strengths and weaknesses of TPU and provided recommendations on how to improve effectiveness of all divisions of the university… The conclusion of external auditors was unanimous – to suggest the company DQS to issue a certificate of QMS compliance for TPU and its structural subdivisions” - as the higher education institution noted.

It has been specified that among distinct advantages of the higher education institution the experts indentified a strong scientific and educational capacity of the university, multilevel system of strategic planning, creation and development of scientific and educational institutions, systematic approach for managing the students, compendium of best practices, etc.
