Tomsk region won the contest for co-financing from the federal budget for establishing the industrial park

Today, on 25 June, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia supported application of the Tomsk Region Administration for granting a subsidy amounting to188,3 million roubles in 2013 to organize the industrial park in the regional center. In the next three years it is planned to invest up to1,2 billion roubles into this project from the regional and federal budgets.

The industrial park will be located on two sites of the regional center - at Kuzovlevsk road and at Berezovaya Street. The Northern site (covering an area of 115,6 ha) adjacent to the SEZ, will specialize in metal working, chemical industry and construction materials, the other one – Berezovaya (22,29 ha) is  intended for the food industry.

Currently the Tomsk industrial park is half-completed: cooperation agreements have been signed with 12 potential residents, which became the main advantage when considering the application in the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

The construction of infrastructure facilities is expected to be carried out during the period 2013 to 2015, and the residents can begin the building of their facilities already in 2014. The total volume of private investments for three years, based on the residents’ own estimates, can reach 9,9 billion roubles.
