Three timber factories will be put on line in Asinovskiy district in 2014 - 2015

This was stated by Deputy Director General of JSC RosKitInvest (the company managing the investment project) Boris Kaznacheev at an away-day meeting held on the eve in Asinovskij District and chaired by Deputy Governor for Industrial and Fuel and Energy Complex Leonid Reznikov.

The away-day meeting was attended by representatives from regional departments for enterprise and real economy sector development, forest management, basic and secondary vocational education, and energy, as well as Asinovskij District Head Alexander Khanygov and the management of JSC RosKitInvest.

According to the representatives from JSC RosKitInvest, by the end of 2014, saw-mill and veneer sheet production factories will be commissioned and pre-commissioning of medium density fiber (MDF) boards production will be launched, whilst in the first quarter of 2015, a boiler house which is the the first stage of the central heating and power plant will be commissioned, it will meet the energy demand of the plant. Currently, there are 18 projects being designed and constructed at JSC RosKitInvest industrial site, these include infrastructure projects as well. Over 1,500 people are involved  in the production activities.

Deputy Governor Leonid Reznikov offered to cerate a project support team which will be comprised of  representatives from the regional authorities, Asinovskij District administration, and investors. The team will be approved by the Governor's order.

'We need to intensify our cooperation, we already have a successful experience in creating such task teams, pointed out the Deputy Governor. We have passed the point of no return, the project is heavily into implementation and we are sure we'll build a timber processing project in the town of Asino. The work should be organized to maximum effect'.

In 2011, joint Russian and Chinese JSC RosKitInvest proceeded to construction of a saw mill and a veneer factory. Since the project startup, 9 billion rubles have been invested in the construction of the wood enterprises and infrastructure. The total of the project's investment will amount to 30 billion rubles and over 5 thousand work places will be created.
