The Governor and the CEO of the Concern "Vega" discussed the project of the plant construction in the Tomsk SEZ

Sergey Zhvachkin, the Governor of the Tomsk region discussed the project of the plant for radioelectronic modules construction in the Special Economic Zone in Tomsk with Vladimir Verba, the CEO and chief designer of the Concern "Vega".

In the meeting in Moscow the Head of the Concern presented to the Head of the region the project of the laboratory manufacturing complex for production of electronic 3D-modules of high-density in the Special Economic Zone "Tomsk".

Vladimir Verba informed Sergey Zhvachkin that the Concern has finished project documentation development of the investment project and has got positive expert statements on construction of manufacturing on the SEZ territory. The plant for manufacturing of electronic modules of a new generation on the basis of the national technology of dimensional assembling 3D-Мiсro Sуstеms will be built in Tomsk.

The project of the Concern has already got the support and budget financing as part of the federal target program “Development of electronic component base and radioelectronics for 2008-2015.” JSC Concern "Vega" also attracted off-budget funds for constriction of the high-technology manufacturing. During the meeting the possibilities of additional investments attraction and project support on the regional level were discussed.

"We agreed that the Concern would get preferences pursuant to our regional law "On the public-private partnership in the Tomsk region", said Sergey Zhvachkin, the governor of the Tomsk region. "Execution of a new high-technology project in our Special Economic Zone will give a synergistic effect both to our partners as well as to the economy of the region", added the Head of the Tomsk region.

The governor and the Head of "Vega" who is also a chief designer of the Concern discussed the prospect for construction of R&D Center for development of a perspective radioelectronic equipment on the basis of the engineering and manufacturing in the framework of the project in Tomsk region.
