SEZ "Tomsk" residents saved 30 Million Rubles through Customs Privileges

The sum of privileges payable of the customs payments by the residents of the special technology development economic zone "Tomsk" was more than 30 million rubles in 2013.

According to Irina Ilichenko, the specialist on public relations of the Tomsk customs, in 2013 the cost of products launched by residents of SEZ TIT "Tomsk" by different customs procedures was 10.2 million dollars that’s by 27.6% more than in 2012. The sum of privileges payable of the customs payments by the residents of SEZ TIT "Tomsk" during product importation was about 30 million rubles in 2013. It is by 5.4 million rubles more than in 2012.

In the structure of goods turnover the import of component parts to the earlier supplied equipment which residents of SEZ need for execution of the technical implementation activities, and also component parts for manufacturing modules for the NMT cellular base stations of the 4th generation, prevails.

According to the data, provided by the Department, on the SEZ TIT "Tomsk" territory as of December 31, 2013 60 residents were registered, 8 of which made customs declaration of goods in accordance with the relevant procedure of the free customs zone (FCZ) providing a complete remission of customs and tax duty.

In May 2013, during the XV Innovation Forum, on the territory of the second line of the South site SEZ TIT "Tomsk", the Scientific Implementation Center was opened with all the honors and celebrations. Till the second part of September, 2013, in the building of the SIC during import of resident goods the procedure of the free customs zone is used.
