Tomsk region gets 280 million rubles for industrial park infrastructure

Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has supported Tomsk region administration request for 280 million rubles subsidy in 2014 to continue the construction of infrastructure objects of the Tomsk industrial park.  

According to Alexander Fedchenko, head of Tomsk region investment department, on July 21 contest commission held a meeting for the selection of Russian regions for the co-funding subsidy as part of state support of small and medium entrepreneurship.

“Industrial parks in Tomsk are all part of first regional Development institutions project, initiated by the governor Sergey Zhvachkin,” said Alexander Fedchenko, “Tomsk region, as in last year, among other winners got 280 million rubles for the industrial park construction.”

In 2013 Tomsk region got 188.3 million rubles from the federal budget, which helped build  external public utilities for both grounds - Severnaya (115,6 ha, specialty - metalworking, chemical industry, construction materials) and Berezovaya (22,29 ha, specialty – food industry).

2014 funding will be aimed at internal utilities of the park. The construction is planned to be finished by the end of  2015.
