The first Olympic type swimming pool to be finished in Tomsk by the end of 2014

The project calls for construction of an Olympic type four-story sport complex with two basins: a 50-meter Olympic type swimming pool and adjacent 25-meter pool with 10 lanes each and several gyms.

Sports complex was supposed to be commissioned by September 1, 2013 but the deadline was shifted. The construction stopped due to termination of a RUB 803 million contract with the previous company (OOO PSK Premium) that was placed back in 2011.

The Tomsk Region Legislative Duma have alloted RUB 156.3 million in April for the sports complex to be commissioned in 2014.

In mid April this year a tender was called for completion of construction of a 50m Olympic type pool in district Zelyonye Gorky of the city of Tomsk by the end of 2014. According to the bids opening protocol published on the State Purchase Web-site only one company (OOO Stroitelnoye Upravlenie Tomskoy Domostroitelnoy Kompanyy (SU TDSK) bid for the tender with a proposal to do the job for RUB 726.5 million at the initial price of RUB 727.5 million.

According to the tender requirements the facility has to be fully commissioned by December 20, 2014. At present the job has consumed over RUB 200 million. So the total price will make over RUB 900 million to the government.
