Tomsk Region has become the best region of Russia for development of small and medium business for the tenth time

Based on the results of the XIII exhibition forum Days of Small and Medium Enterprises of Russia – 2014 that was held as part of the Russian Entrepreneurship Week in Moscow, Tomsk Region was nominated a winner as Best Region of Russia for development of small and medium enterprises and environment for them.

Tomsk region for the tenth time has become a winner of this exhibition demonstrating high number of small enterprises per thousand people of population, high number of people employed by the small enterprises and high investment activity of the small enterprises.

Besides six types of products by Tomsk companies participated in contest for best product, equipment and services. Products of Activ and Biolit, Tomsk companies, were awarded contest laureate diplomas. Letters of gratitude from  Innovative Entrepreneurship Development Foundation for participation in Best Innovative project contest were awarded to OOO Sfagnum Pit for face cosmetic based on the West Siberian bog peat lipid complex and NPO Metakon for remote control of the live high voltage power plant equipment and ZAO Tecknologia Market for design of eccentric cycloidal gearing.

Collective exposition of Tomsk Region at the exhibition included products from the 30 best small and medium companies. As the exhibitors noted, scientific and technical projects that have become commercial products and are successfully working for the Region economy have proved high scientific and technical potential of Tomsk Region and its attractiveness for investment.
