Regions of AIRR present import-substituting technologies at the forum of U-NOVUS

This year central event of the forum of young scientists U-NOVUS (Forum) will be exhibition of ready to implement projects and import substitution technologies, represented by Association of innovative regions of Russia (AIRR). This was said by deputy governor of the Tomsk Region on scientific and educational complex and innovation policy Mikhail Sonkin at the meeting of the Tomsk scientific and educational organizations consortium. The exhibition will also include the contest of young scientists research projects aimed at import substitution and exports. Holding of strategic session on implementation and the prospects of program of the Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology "Cooperation" is planned also during the Forum, which will result in the signing of agreements on the allocation of funds for implementation of innovative projects worth over 200 million rubles.

 

Russian Project Management Association and Russian Federation Government Analytical Centre will hold contest "The Best Project of the Year - 2015", which present the best practices of project activities of big business and public organizations.

 

"Import substitution will be the focus of the Forum, the response of Russian scientists’ developments to current economic challenges. One of the results of the Forum will be the selection of a number of import-substituting developments and their subsequent implementation", - said Mikhail Sonkin.

The forum of young scientists U-NOVUS will take place in the city of Tomsk in May 2015. It’s a communication, discussion and creative platform for young scientists, inventors, entrepreneurs in innovation. Organizers of the Forum are Tomsk Region Administration and AIRR. General partner of the Forum is JSC "Gazprom". Partners Forum are The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the scientific and technical field, JSC "Russian Venture Company", JSC "RUSNANO", the Foundation "Skolkovo", Project Management Association "SOVNET."
