During the meeting, special attention was given to the progress of gasification in Siberian regions. The government approved a program to gasify the district, which aims to accelerate the implementation of socio-economic projects and industrial development. The goal is to overcome existing infrastructure constraints and to ensure reliable gas supplies for residents and new investment projects.
Anatoly Seryshev emphasized that the gasification of Siberian regions is a crucial factor in the socio-economic development of the region, improving the living standards of citizens and enhancing the environmental situation.
The Strategic Spatial Development Plan of the Russian Federation and the Strategic Development Plan for the Siberian Federal District prioritize the gasification of both the population and industries.
It has been noted that the Altai Krai, the Kemerovo Region, the Novosibirsk Region, the Tomsk Region, the Omsk Region, the Altai Republic, several settlements in the Irkutsk Region, and the Noril'sk industrial center in the Krasnoyarsk Krai have already been supplied with natural gas.
According to the gas supply and gasification development plans for the period 2026-2030, it is planned to gasify 16 cities and 143 settlements. For a number of these settlements, LNG solutions will be implemented, which will ensure gas supply to hard-to-reach areas. Following the meeting, the Russian Ministry of Energy and Gazprom have been instructed to explore the possibilities of using a local resource base in order to improve and enhance gas supply in the regions of the Siberian Federal District.
