The meeting, convened by the Administration of the Tomsk Region, discussed the establishment of the industrial cluster for electronics and unmanned technologies, which is being created in line with the instructions of Andrey Yatskin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, and Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia.
As a result of the meeting, strategic documents were approved, including the development programme, priority areas and key performance indicators of the cluster. Consideration was also given to the needs of the scientific infrastructure.
During the session, several companies presented their projects within the cluster: Cognitive, Micran, LEMZ-T and Radar MMS. Their initiatives included projects in the field of satellite communications for UAVs, lidar systems and the production of an unmanned mini-tractor.
The inclusion of Tomsk universities in the industrial cluster will strengthen technological chains through personnel training. Additionally, as TUSUR (Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics) has production OKVEDs (Russian Classification of Economic Activities), there are further opportunities for developing cooperative links.
