The Tomsk Region and Gazprombank Leasing to cooperate on infrastructure projects

At the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Vladimir Mazur, Governor of the Tomsk Region, and Vyacheslav Spirov, Vice President of Gazprombank and General Director of Gazprombank Leasing Group, signed a cooperation agreement.

Under the agreement, the parties will collaborate on implementing infrastructure projects and attracting investment into the regional economy. Gazprombank Leasing plans to act as a financial partner in projects aimed at modernising the Tomsk Region’s transport, utilities and road construction infrastructure.

“Today, one of the main priorities in the Tomsk Region is the creation and development of a comfortable urban environment. To this end, we have begun upgrading public transport and building a modern fleet of municipal special-purpose vehicles. Gazprombank Leasing’s proposals are intended to support the region’s development plans, and we will take them into account when developing financial models for specific projects,” said Vladimir Mazur.

Vyacheslav Spirov noted that the Tomsk Region is attractive to investors thanks to its strong industrial and scientific potential.
