Tomsk Region selected developers of town planning schemes

The municipal entities of Tomsk Region are closing the tenders to select developers of town planning schemes for regional district centers and city districts. All town planning schemes will be developed in parallel with land use and development regulations.

"Most Region districts have already determined their winners – municipal contractors," says Deputy Head of the Tomsk Region Department of Architecture, Construction and Road Complex and Chief Architect of Tomsk Region Arkady Shishkin. "The remaining municipal districts will finalize their tender procedures by the end of November."

The known winners are the Russian State Research and Design Urban Planning Institute (St. Petersburg), OOO Sibzemresurs (Omsk), OOO Prospekt-2 (Tomsk), and OAO Siberian Research and Design Town Planning Institute (Novosibirsk).

"The tenders that have already taken place resulted in financial savings which will be used as subsidies for the development of town planning schemes of rural settlements such as Bolshedorokhovskoye (Asinovsky District), Urtamskoye (Kozhevnikovsky District), and Narymskoye (Parabelsky District), and four rural settlements in Tomsky District – Bogashevskoye, Zarechnoye, Zorkaltsevskoye, and Mirnenskoye," Arkady Shishkin added.

Town planning schemes of Seversk, Kolpashevo, Asino, and Bely Yar are scheduled to be completed this year.

Development of town planning schemes for all rural settlements of Tomsk Region with the population over 2,000 people will be started in 2012.
