Tomsk region Governor Sergei Zhvachkin and PAO Gazprom Chairman Alexei Miller held a working meeting in St. Petersburg, which resulted in the decision of the head of Gazprom to double investments in the gasification of the Tomsk region.
The head of the region and the head of the global energy company reviewed the implementation of an agreement on cooperation in gasification of the region. In 2005-2017 for these purposes Gazprom sent 4.65 billion rubles, building five inter-settlement gas pipelines. As a result, the level of gasification in the region has almost doubled from 6.3 to 12.3%. The company continues construction of the Tomsk-Asino gas pipeline.
Heads of the region and the company also discussed the implementation of the project of autonomous gasification of a number of districts of the Tomsk region. A design of a gas liquefaction complex at a gas pipeline to GRS “Kargala”and reception, storage and regasification systems has been completed in villages Bakchar, Voronovka, Kozhevnikovo, Podgornoye and Teguldet. This year, Gazprom plans to begin construction and installation works at these facilities.
Today, on the territory of the Tomsk region, there are four gas-filling compressor stations of Gazprom. Three of them work in Tomsk, one in Seversk. This year in Tomsk, operation of another station will start.
