Ministry of Economic Development Evaluates Special Economic Zone Tomsk Efficiency as 100 per cent

According to the estimation of Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, since the beginning of operation Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Tomsk increased its efficiency by 100%.

As of 31 December, 2017, SEZ of technology and innovation in Tomsk accommodates 72 residents (100% of planned values), ten of them work with foreign investments. SEZ residents created 2,045 new jobs (114% of planned values) including 348 in 2017.

The amount of resident investments in SEZ Tomsk in 2017 was 2,997.5 million rubles (214% of planned values), for all the time of SEZ operation it amounts to more than 13.3 billion rubles (133% of planned values). Sales and services revenue in 2017 amounted to 3.6 billion rubles (277% of planned values), for all the time of SEZ operation it amounts to 15.5 billion rubles (141% of planned values).

Residents of SEZ Tomsk directed to budgets about 2.8 billion rubles of taxes (146% of planned values), including 621.7 million rubles in 2017 (240% of planned values). The volume of tax concessions received by SEZ residents amounts to 49.54 million rubles for federal budget and 35.54 million rubles for regional budget.

SEZ is evaluated with 20 parameters that reflect work efficiency of residents and profitability of budget investments to infrastructure development.
