The Governor of the Tomsk Region Met With the Co-chairman of "Business Russia"

On March 6, the governor of Tomsk Region, Sergey Zhvachkin, and the co-chairman of the public organization “Business Russia”, Sergey Generalov, held a working meeting in the regional administration.

The head of the Region and the co-chairman of “Business Russia” discussed the cooperation of the regional authorities and one of the country's largest unions of entrepreneurs, as well as the work plan of the Tomsk branch of “Business Russia”. Today, it includes the leaders of more than 30 companies that the organization helps in conducting business missions, export activities, and receiving support from the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, as well as other development institutions.

The meeting participants also emphasized the importance of returning benefits to residents of special economic zones. This is extremely important for the Tomsk Region, where the first and one of the most successful special-purpose type special economic zones in Russia was opened in 2006.

“We stand for any support of small and medium-sized businesses, technological entrepreneurship and, of course, for the preservation of preferences. Creating new high-performance jobs, developing competitive products, bringing domestic companies to export markets is our common task,” said Governor of the Tomsk Region Sergey Zhvachkin.
