Business mission of Tomsk companies is working in India
The first phase of business mission of Tomsk small-scale and mid-scale companies in India took part in Bangalore. Tomsk people presented the region's potential and products of the companies in the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Karnataka region and in the Bangalore Chamber of Commerce.
In the course of meetings the agreements were achieved on cooperation of Tomsk companies "Local engineering systems" and "Elcom+" with partners from Bangalore; Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Karnataka State and Bangalore Chamber of Commerce initiated the signing of agreements with Tomsk Chamber of Commerce on development of business relations between Tomsk and Indian business. Indian businessmen showed interest in products of "Ruslana", "Artlife" companies, Tomsk IT companies.
"Tomsk companies demonstrated a good potential for establishing mutually beneficial relations with our entrepreneurs, presented interesting products and technologies that can successfully work at the Indian market. Under the Agreement between Chambers of Commerce we plan to tell the maximum possible number of our businessmen about the potentials of cooperation with your business. We will also consider the chances of visiting Tomsk in 2015", noted Mr. Sampatraman, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Karnataka State.
On the last day of the business mission in Bangalore the Tomsk businessmen visited International IT-Park "Ascendas" where they met representatives of the Park managing company and made familiar with peculiarities of high-tech business in India.
Business mission will continue in Chennai town (India) where presentations of Tomsk business are planned to be held in the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Chennai and in Tamilnad State; a meeting with the Minister of Industry of the state and a visit to the contacts exchange with participation of a trade representative of Russia in India are planned.
The mission was organized by Export Support Center of Tomsk Chamber of Commerce under the support of Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship of Tomsk Region, and of Trade Agency of Russia in India.
