A Tourist Forum will open in Tomsk region tomorrow

On November 21-22 an International Forum will be held in Tomsk Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin (K. Marks Street, 14): "Year of Tourism in CIS-countries: Fraternity of countries and peoples: heritage, events, education and technologies".

Representatives of the RF Ministry of Culture, Federal Agency on CIS-Countries, Rossotrudnichestvo, Executing Board of CIS, Federal Agency on tourism, Russian Union of Tourism Industry and Tourist Organizations arrived to Tomsk to participate in the Forum.

Official opening of the Forum will take place on November 21 at 10:00 in the Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin (K. Marks Street, 14). Andrey Knorr, Deputy Governor of the Tomsk region, Sergey Teodorovich, Head of Management Department of International Cooperation of Rosturism, Alexander Eliseev, Director on Development of Russian Travel Guide TV will make presentations at the meeting.

Round-table discussions will be held during two days of the Forum: "Unusual solutions in promoting the tourism product", "Improvement of interregional transport logistics as a factor of tourism development", "Tourism without boundaries", "Heritage preservation through tourism development".

The Forum will host "Tourism in CIS-countries" presentations award with an iPad raffle, and an Award Ceremony for the winners of the regional phase of "Travel" (Peredvizheniye) contest.

A sightseeing program has been developed for the Forum participants from other cities: visits to Semiluzhensky ostrog, Lampsakov homestead, excursions to Ruyan-town and "Okolitsa" park.
