Investment in consumer market of Tomsk Region grew 5 times in 2010 against 2009

In 2010, investments in the consumer market of Tomsk Region grew almost 5 times against 2009, and totaled over 2bn rubles. Most capital was invested in food industry with medium and large-scale businesses having spent on modernization and capacity development 754m rubles. Among large-scale projects which supported growth of investments in the consumer market was construction of Metro Cash & Carry wholesale store in Tomsk for 600m rubles. The store was opened in November 2010.
