05.11.2013

New developments of Tomsk Company “Micran” were awarded two gold medals of the “National Security” competition, which took place within the framework of the largest Russian exhibition on security “Inerpolytech”.

According to the press office of the company, the medals were awarded for “The best Russian complex solutions in the field of communication means” and “Development and creation of radiolocation stations for modernization of new-generation security systems”.

One of the innovations demonstrated at the exhibition by “Micran” is communication equipment for unmanned aircrafts. Another innovation demonstrated at the exhibition was a millimeter solid state radiolocation station for security systems and safety provision. The new radar is able to “see” a man and similar neatly-invisible objects in any climatic conditions, at night and during the day, in the nearest area (about 2 km). The locator has a low radiating power (up to 1 W), which allows it effectively to fit in the security-provision complexes with no need in solving the problems with electromagnetic compatibility of the system, as a whole.

Prospective consumers were shown variants of technical solutions with implementation of “Micran”’s devices, which make it possible to provide for safety in city districts, infrastructure facilities or mass events.
