Tomsk region governor Sergey Zhvachkin and deputy chairman of JSC "Gazprom"' board of directors Alexey Miller discussed cooperation

Tomsk region governor Sergey Zhvachkin met with deputy chairman of JSC "Gazprom" Alexey Miller on September 18. At the meeting in Moscow they spoke about cooperation of Tomsk region with global energy company.

Participants of the meeting discussed implementation of the Tomsk region gas supply and gasification programme for 2013-2015 years, which Sergey Zhvachkin and Alexey Miller signed on January 29, 2013. "Within this program "Gazprom" has already invested in gasification of Tomsk region about 1.3 billion rubles, we're going at a good pace and will only increase it to attain gasification of our settlements and business companies" - said Tomsk region governor Sergey Zhvachkin.

Tomsk region governor and the head of JSC "Gazprom" also discussed the program of import substitution, providing increasing use of Tomsk enterprises products and technologies for the needs of global energy company. Such shipments focasted in 2014 will exceed more than a quarter the 2013 volume and amount 2.5 billion rubles. By 2016, cooperation volume will achieve annual turnover of 8 billion rubles, as recorded in "road map" assigned between Tomsk region and JSC "Gazprom".

Sergey Zhvachkin and Alexey Miller agreed on participation of global energy company in implementation of infrastructure project "Tomsk embankments". "We agreed to work together on Revitalization of the River Ushaika Waterfront and part of Lenin Avenue in the center of Tomsk - said Tomsk region governor. - This project involves creation of sports park, recreation area and areas of cultural events".
