The construction of a plant for the production of MDF boards at the site of the timber-processing complex RosKitInvest in the city of Asino, Tomsk region, will be completed in October 2017; the enterprise will become another production facility of Asino timber industry park.

Earlier it was reported that a timber industry cluster with Chinese partners was being created in the region. In 2015, AVIC Foresty ("subsidiary" of the AVIC corporation) launched a veneer plant in Asino district, in 2016 a sawmill plant was opened. The date for the MDF-boards plant was repeatedly postponed. In January 2017, Asino TPC has a new investor - Hubei Timber Company "Fuhan" (PRC), which initiated the audit of CJSC RosKitInvest.

It is noted that the head of the Tomsk region Sergei Zhvachkin met with the general director of the Hubei investment company Li Jun, who first arrived in Tomsk on a visit. The guest presented the regional development plans to the head of the region.

It is noted that recently at the industrial site of RosKitInvest completed the construction of a container platform for loading products for rail transport, and also resolved the issues on the production complex gasification. Regional authorities and representatives of the new investor are preparing a package of documents for the inclusion of Asino Forest Industrial Park in the federal list of priority investment projects.

"The new investor has a clear idea of the development of the timber industry park, and it coincides with our plans to develop the eastern territories of the region, increase output and create new jobs", - the head of the region Zhvachkin commented on meeting results.

It is specified that the parties agreed to prepare an agreement between the administration of the Tomsk region and the Hubei joint investment company, which will detail the plan for further cooperation.
