Tomsk Region Plans to Cooperate with Chinese Province of Hebei

In Moscow, the Tomsk region delegation with the head of department for investment Alexander Fedchenko, the deputy head of department of international and regional relations Maxim Volkov and general director of Development Corporation of the Tomsk region Stanislav Yaschuk had met with the Shijiazhuang delegation (Hebei Province, China).

Shijiazhuang delegation headed by mayor of  Shijiazhuang city Dan Peizhan included the representatives  of Jingye Group - the large financial and industrial  group with the annual turnover about 60 bln of yuan.  The company is interested in developing of high-level processing of forest resources on the territory of the Tomsk region. Also Jingye Group is willing to consider investments projects in other sectors of economy.

The parties discussed the opportunities of collaboration, such as the possibility of conclusion an agreement about twin-city relations between Shijiazhuang city and Tomsk city, and also they arranged to support the working contacts on a regular base.
