Siberian Chemical Combine will invest 63 million rubles for modernization of the radiation monitoring system

Plant has already received the first part of equipment for ARMS. Two meteorological stations, 22 GPS equipment complex for cellular transmission data between posts and three data collection stations (general, reserved and backup) delivered to Seversk.

The new equipment will let monitor the background radiation and realise spectrometric analysis of air environment. The upgraded system will significantly improve the quality control in the area of location of SCC. Posts of radiation monitoring will measure the volumetric activity of radionuclides in the air and in the water, and meteorological parameters.

Delivery of the remaining part of the equipment is expected in the end of January.  Upgrade of ARMS posts is scheduled to complete before the end of the year.
