Electronics production in Tomsk region grew by 22.5 per cent

According to the results of nine months, the growth of industrial production in the region amounted to 100.6%. Positive dynamics is noted in the raw materials sector (101.2%), processing industries (100.2%), energy sector (105.1%). The deputy governor noted that the negative dynamics in the manufacturing industry has been reversed by the end of September.

High-tech industries became the drivers of growth: in the field of electronics the output of the enterprises ‘NIIPP’, Research and Production company Micran, R&D “Polyus”, Tomsk Electromechanical Plant (TETZ), “Elcom+”, “TOMZEL”, “Tomsk Electronic Company” increased by 22.5%.

Metallurgy grew by 14.4% due to the implementation of the “Proryv” project on the basis of ShK JSC.

An excellent growth rate - 12.1% - is shown by the production of machinery and equipment by the enterprises ‘Tomsk Electronic Company’, ‘Siberian Machine Building Company’, ‘Siberian Machine Builder’.

Woodworking showed 102.5% due to the increase in production volumes by ‘Monolit-Stroy’, ‘Tomlesdrev’, ‘Asinovsky MDF Plant’. Such indicators speak about high availability of orders, the staff of the enterprises are provided with work and have stable incomes’.

These are the results of the regional policy on the development of the cluster approach and diversification of industries.

Positive dynamics is also noted in construction.

On the growth of production in the food industry (101.6 %).
