Vostokgazprom to increase associated gas utilization up to 1 billion cu. m by 2016

Vostokgazprom is commissioning an associated gas utilization system for the Kazanskoye oil and gas condensate field.

The new system will utilize over 95% of associated petroleum gas increasing total marketable gas output by 200 million cu. m in 2011 and by 380 million cu. m in 2012. Vostokgazprom’s further plan is to increase Kazanskoye field associated gas utilization to 100%.

The new associated gas utilization system has reserve capacity to embrace other deposits of the Southern Group which will be brought into production in 2011–2013. The system supports the company’s plans to increase associated petroleum gas utilization volumes to 1 billion cu. m in 2016.
