According to Tomskstat, industrial manufacturing in Tomsk Region in the first half of 2018 increased by 1.4% relevant to the same period of the last year. Manufacturing increased by 9.8%.

In January-June the food manufacturing in the region increased by 14.9%. Meat manufacturing increased by 86.1%, poultry manufacturing – by 5.9%, milk – by 4%, butter – by 14.2%, cheese and cottage cheese – by 6.2%, fish manufacturing – by 6.7%.

In the first half of the year Tomsk Region increased textile manufacturing by 5.3%, clothes – by 145.6%. Lumber manufacturing increased by 52.4%, chemical materials and products manufacturing increased by 4.8%, medicine and medical products production increased by 12.4%. Metallurgical production increased by 15.5%, computer, electric and optic devices production – by 4.4%. Provision of electricity, gas and steam increased by 4.6%.
