May 25-27, Israel’s Ambassador to Russia Dorit Golender made a visit to Tomsk.

The two-day working visit included meetings with the Jewish community of Tomsk in the synagogue and participation in the innovation forum. The Israeli Ambassador also met with the rectors of the Tomsk State University and gave a lecture to the students and instructors. At the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) Dorit Golender took part in the ceremony for the signing of a cooperation agreement between TUSUR and Israeli companies SPACIOLIST and Astelion. The Israeli Ambassador also visited the Tomsk Special Economic Zone of Technical Innovation Type and came to know a number of innovative firms of Tomsk.
