The Competition of Anti Hackers will be carried out on Forum U-NOVUS in Tomsk
The interregional competition among students of the Siberian University studying in the field of information safety will be carried out from April 1th till March 31th in Tomsk.
The student teams will compete in skills of unknown computer system protection. During the game the team detects vulnerabilities and protects the system (this task is similar to the task of the information safety specialist who starts working in a new organization) and at the same time is trying to hack the system of competitors.
During the game the participants use in practice their knowledge in cryptography, steganography, forensics (computer criminalistics) and other special disciplines. Seven groups with seven people in each will take part in it. Yaroslav Branevskiy, the head of the Information Society Development Department of the Tomsk region Administration will act as a moderator.
