Number of SEZ residents hits 59

At the Moscow session of the Expert Council for Special Economic Zones of Technical Innovation Type Tomsk presented projects by three SEZ resident prospects and a joint project by a SEZ resident OOO Micran and Nokia Siemens Networks.

The Expert Council resolved to grant the status of a Tomsk SEZ resident to ZAO BioEco, OOO Elecard-CTP, and OOO Elcom+.

According to the companies’ business plans, the total amount of investment under the projects will make up almost 1.4bn rubles, with 370 new jobs.

The new residents will be housed in the Engineering Center, and Elecom+ will enter into a lease contract for a land plot on the Southern Site to build its own 5,000 sq.m. research and manufacturing building. A new building will also be constructed on the Southern Site for the joint project of Micran and Nokia Siemens Networks.
