Tomsk in Top 35 of effective innovative development centers

Skolkovo Foundation and Expert RA Rating Agency published "Guidelines for the Creation and Development of Innovation Centers (Techniques and Regularities)" where the scientific research and technology park of Tomsk was ranked in Top 35 of most effective innovative development centers from all over the world along with the Silicone Valley (USA), Cambridge Science Park (UK), Ideon Science Park (Sweden), Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park (Taiwan), etc.

According to the developers of the rating, out of almost a thousand of currently existing innovation centers and science parks only a few are genuinely effective. Criteria included development dynamics, contribution to the economic growth, profile and citation ratio, size and prominence of companies working in the center, size of the center, access to venture capital, and availability of information about the center.
