Recorded unemployment in Tomsk Region down to 1.8%

The recorded unemployment rates in Tomsk Region plummeted to 1.8% recently. Over the first six months of 2012 the recorded unemployment rate in Tomsk Region went down by 10.2%. As of July 1 there were 9,625 unemployed people.

The number of part-time employees decreased by 463 people and totaled 633 people in 40 companies as of July 1.

In the first half-year 2012 1,584 people were dismissed. Out of them 185 people were placed in a job, among them 86 people got employed with their former employers. The employment office provided jobs to 15,094 people and 1,461 unemployed people completed professional and refresher training courses for the most in-demand jobs.
