Indian Businessmen are Setting Business Contacts with Companies from Tomsk Region

Representatives of large Indian companies "Oil Field Warehouse & Services", "US REMEDIES", "Stork group" and "Arjun Group" paid a 3-days working visit to Tomsk.

Representatives of large Indian companies "Oil Field Warehouse & Services", "US REMEDIES", "Stork group" and "Arjun Group" paid a 3-days working visit to Tomsk.According to information of regional Department of International and Regional Relations, representatives of the companies, which are interested in searching technological solutions to be implemented on Indian market, visited Tomsk. They are especially interested in medical equipment, pharmacology and everything, connected with new materials and nanotechnologies.

Indian businessmen visited 8 innovative companies of Tomsk special economic zone, business incubators of Tomsk state university and Tomsk state university of control systems and radioelectronics, and Tomsk polytechnic university. The guests showed their interest to such Tomsk scientists' projects as nano roller-bandage, nano powders, ceramic prostheses, water purification methods and other technologies.

"I found out that Tomsk is an entire storage of new technologies. Now it is required to evaluate these technologies from commercial point of view in order to understand their cost-efficiency", said Madhumahan Sharma, one of the Indian businessmen.

Indian entrepreneurs visit became possible because of media tours for foreign media representatives, which had been organized in 2011 by RIANovosti Tomsk Media Center and Administration of Tomsk Region.
