Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry received Lorraine delegation

A delegation from Nancy, the cultural and educational capital of Lorraine, Tomsk Region partner region made an official visit to Tomsk and met with the representatives of the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting was attended by Sergey Sakun, First Vice President of Tomsk CCI; Aleksander Belyayev, Director of the Center for Development of Foreign Economic Activity; and Anastasia Galiveyeva, Head of the Regional Euro Info Correspondence Center from the Russian side and by Jean-Michel Berlemont, Deputy Mayor for International Relations; Philippe Bertaud, Vice President of the Big Nancy Agglomeration, and representatives of Lorraine's Chamber of Commerce and Industry from the French side.

The agenda of the meeting included a presentation of EICC in Tomsk Region and the foreign economic activity of the Tomsk CCI, a presentation of the export potential of small and medium business of Tomsk Region, and a discussion of cooperation opportunities for Tomsk and Nancy.

The guests from France also presented to their counterparts in Tomsk the Business Club Russie established on the basis of the Chamber. Cooperation development plans include facilitation of the exchange of business proposals between businessmen from Tomsk and France, and work on options to jointly organize educational and information events for businessmen.
