Tomsk Region delegation at a business forum in Singapore

This week Singapore is hosting the Russia-Singapore Business Forum. Tomsk Region is taking part.

Last year, Tomsk received Singapore's Ambassador and Tomsk Region took part in Russia-Singapore Business Forum 2011 where they established business contacts with Jurong Consultants who agreed to develop a master plan of industrial sites adjacent to the Tomsk Special Economic Zone.

The next step will be a presentation of Tomsk Region and Tomsk SEZ at the Singapore Business Federation which unites companies representing all industries of Singapore. The presentation will take place on September 28. There, Jurong Consultants will present the results of their study of the innovation and investment potential of Tomsk Region and its SEZ.

The agenda also includes negotiations with the management of Jurong Consultants to discuss options for joint management of the Tomsk SEZ and Jurong Consultants' involvement in the work to attract foreign investors in the Tomsk SEZ and adjacent industrial sites.

During RSBF, the delegation from Tomsk Region will take part in special sessions on industrial clusters and the "innovation and technology pipeline" between Russia and Asia. Each participating region at the Forum will be provided with a floor space for the distribution of information materials and negotiations.
