Tomsk interacademic business-incubator “Druzhba” besomes the best in Russia

As part of  III Russian-American business incubator forum, taking place 18-19 November in Moscow, National Business incubators and innovational entrepreneurship Young lions awards 2013 took place. Interacademic student business incubator “Druzhba” (“Friendship”, created with Tusur University) has won the nomination “Best student business-incubator.”

Interacademic business-incubator “Druzhba” is the first Russian student business incubator. It was founded in 2004. In 9 years the incubator team has done a lot of work to not only become the best, but also stay that way.  And this award means that it wasn’t in vain. We congratulate interacademic business-incubator “Druzhba” on this victory and wish them conquering new peaks in the future.

The winner got the opportunity of a free participation in the NBIA conference in May 2014, the right to free MGIMO-NBIA training and participation in Softlanding program together with Innovation center of North-Eastern Indiana. Each nomination winners were awarded winners certificates and Fund for innovation and business incubators development figurines.

This year the prestigious award was also given to:

  • Tolyatti business incubator (nomination “Best classical business-incunbator”);
  • Aleksandr Krasnoslobodtsev, regional state budget institution “Altai business incubator”, the city of Barnaul (nomination “The best classical business incubator manager”);
  • Mikhail Khomich, MSU business incubator, Moscow (nomination “Best student business incubator manager”);
  • Microspace, Strogino technopark business incubator, Moscow (nomination “Best IT project”);
  • Geizer Company, Impulse business incubator, the city of Zarechny (nomination “Best technological project”).

This year’s special award «Baby Lion» out of competition was given to Children’s business incubator “Bink” of the Children’s technical creative center “Novatsia”, the city of Ivanovo.

This event took place as part of World entrepreneurship week in MGIMO. The event was organized by the university and the Fund for innovation and business incubators development.
