“Sibelectromotor” Started the First Stage of Production in Seversk

In Seversk, on premises of the Siberian Chemical Plant, “Sibelectromotor” Plant has started the first stage of production of electric motors, where about 90 jobs were created.

The production site in Sevesrk will produce the most profitable kind of products — crane roller table machines.

The decision of transfer of a part of production of Tomsk plant was taken following the appointment by the Council of directors of JSC “Sibelectromotor” of Anti-Crisis Manager Gennady Studensky as the head of the plant.

At present SC “Sibelectromotor ” specializes in production of asynchronous electric motors, iron casting and items made of it. Its consumers are metallurgic, machine-building and construction companies, enterprises of mining industry. According to the data of the annual report of “Sibelectromotor ”, the share of enterprises in Russian sales (taking into account import) of low-voltage electric machines varies from 2.2 to 42.6 % depending on the kind of motor. On December 21 this year the plant will celebrate its 72nd birthday.
