“SAVA” Company of Tomsk commissioned a Sea Buckthorn Processing Workshop with Imported Equipment

18.11.2013

“SAVA” Company of Tomsk has commissioned a sea buckthorn processing workshop, which will produce up to 300 tons of products a month.

The new workshop has been furnished with exclusive equipment by means of which the manufacturer will have almost waste free production: it will produce oil and juice. They will use even berry seeds for production of oil used in cosmetology.

The new equipment will take up to 3.0 tons of berries and produce 2.5 tons of juice, 60 kg of oil and 60-80 kg of seeds.

The berries are delivered from Altai Krai and Buryatia, as in Tomsk sea buckthorn cannot get ripe because of the climate. The products are sold in great amounts, in barrels of 200 kg, to Mongolia, to Altai Krai and Irkutsk Region. In the nearest time the juice will be poured in two-litre packages and sold through local networks. The company intends to build a separate plant for sea buckthorn processing on the recently purchased plot of land. This complex is to be opened in 2014.
