Tomsk Investment Committee Supports the Project of Development of Former SBBP-5 Territory of 24.5 ha, where it is planned to build a residential complex with a commercial area within five years.

“Consultingstroyinvest” Company, acting in interests of owners of land with the total square of 24.5 ha, is a technical customer of the project. According to its representatives, it is planned to build a residential complex with a commercial area within five years.

The volume of investment into development of this territory, according to forecasts, will amount to 20 billion rubles. The total square of dwelling is 300 thousand sq. m. The trade area will make up 40 thousand sq. m. By present there have already been agreements on construction of a hypermarket, a household goods and DIY shop and a furniture shop in the territory of former State Ball-Bearing Plant(SBBP)-5.

During the implementation of the project it is planned to create 850 jobs with the average wages of 25 thousand rubles. The volume of tax and nontax allowances will amount to 36 million rubles, including 15.9 million rubles to be sent to the budget of Tomsk.

The territory planning project has been examined during public hearings and now it undergoes further coordination procedures. The company’s representatives asked members of the investment committee to support the project and appoint a project manager in the administration to facilitate the process of coordination of the initial permits.
